Great PR Ranking Article

I just found a really great article and website that explains the search engine PR rank or value on Google of any website or web page.

For those of you that don't know, PR value is a numerical value assigned by google.com to the web pages it indexes. A zero value means either a brand new website or a site that has been banned, and PR 9 means the site is a top site for popularity. There are very few PR 9 websites, just a handful compared to the number of websites on the Internet.

The article I found is at this site: http://www.webworkshop.net/pagerank.html

If you are trying to figure out what all the hubbub is about website PR Value, (and it is important!) then I really recommend you read the article and some of the others on the site as well! Google is hard to understand sometimes, but it is the number one search engine on the Web right now so it pays off to understand it a bit better.
